
Research Group Deschler

Our research studies functional materials for energy generation, storage, and conversion, with applications in computing, optoelectronics and electro-chemical charge storage.
We follow a multidisciplinary approach for elucidating ultrafast dynamics in such materials, ranging from state-of-the-art optical spectroscopies to in-house sample fabrication. This powerful combination facilitates ground-breaking advances in material functions, while opening fascinating opportunities to explore fundamental physico-chemical phenomena.
We welcome applications for Master/Bachelor theses, and on Postdoc or PhD level.
A background in chemistry, physics or material science is typically required for our research.
