Hengstberger Symposium on "Bioelectronics: mimicking and interfacing biological systems"

Workshop

The Hengstberger-Symposium on “Bioelectronics: mimicking and interfacing biological systems” will take place at the International Wissenschaftsforum Heidelberg (IWH) from Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th May 2023.

We will bring together experts in bioelectronics to discuss the most recent development and novel ideas about the new electronic material and device design, and the basic understanding of the biological systems.

This symposium aims at providing an overview of recent developments in bioelectronics, its key features, working principles, achievements, challenges, and outlook. With this symposium, we hope to stimulate the interest and fruitful cooperation of the scientific communities that could contribute to this multidisciplinary and complex topic whose success greatly depends on collaborations among engineers, chemists, physicists, biologists, and medical researchers.

Topics include

The number of participants is strictly limited. Most speakers will be invited, however there will be a limited number of contributed talks. Other interested participants will have the opportunity to bring a poster. Contributions will be selected to form a coherent program with complementary aspects that span the entire process chain. The schedule will be arranged such that there will be plenty of time for discussion in between the talks.

There will be no conference fee.
