The idea is to bring together people from different fields like atomic and molecular physics, theoretical chemistry, astrophysics and all those colleagues interested in aspects of few-body systems in external fields.

Topics include:

Behaviour and properties of atoms in strong static fields, fundamental aspects and electronic structure of molecules in strong magnetic fields, dynamics and aspects of chaos in highly excited Rydberg atoms in external fields, matter in the atmosphere of astrophysical objects (white dwarfs,neutron stars), quantum nano structures in strong magnetic fields, computational methods.

Arrival: Monday April 7, 1997, afternoon.
Departure: Friday April 11, 1997, afternoon.

Participation fee:

Accomodation at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef, full board (except beverages) and conference fee together is DM 350.- (in special cases a reduction of the fee is possible). There are no funds available for travel costs.
