Heidelberg Youth Hostel – located north of the river Neckar, the youth hostel will surprise you with a recently renovated, modern and friendly building. The conference venue is only a ten-minute walk away. There is a bus station right in front of the building with a direct connection to the main station (10 minutes). Right next to various hospitals, university buildings and the zoo, surrounded by on-campus housing and sports facilities, there are one Italian restaurant and one open-air bar in walking distance (other than the youth hostel bar). Facilities include internet access, PC workstations and a children's playroom.

Hotel Blume – located right across the street from the main station but in a quiet street with a patio entrance to the hotel. The hotel opened in 2006 and offers 11 rooms. All rooms are equipped with flat-screen TV, free internet access, hair dryer and phone. Most rooms have a loggia or balcony. Rooms are bright and colorful, very good tram / bus connection to both the city centre and the conference venue.
